Internship – System testing and software development for power grid monitoring applications (m/f/d)

Your mission
  • Assist in conducting system integration testing, performance stress testing, application testing and algorithm validation testing for power grid monitoring applications, e.g. partial discharge monitoring system
  • Create test scenarios and necessary scripts to fulfill test requirements and write test reports
  • Contribution to the update of user guides and instructions with the test results and gained proficiency with the systems, provide technical support and training to partners and users
  • Software development of selectable sub-modules e.g.  GUI, data acquisition & storage, data loading, processing & analysis (to discuss based on candidate's skills and interests)
  • Assist in porting & testing software and firmware to new hardware platforms
  • Assist in developing optoelectronic measurement systems and conducting experimental testing & verification in laboratories
  • Assist in project management and execution
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or related disciplines
  • experience in embedded software development and system testing
  • Programming experience in e.g. Python, C/C++, MATLAB, experience in cooperative coding and version control using Github/GitLab is a plus
  • Hands-on ability and team player
  • Eager to learn new knowledge and skills
  • Proficient in Chinese and English, German is a plus
